On April 29 we will open the traveling exhibition for Bold. Art. in the city of Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province.
Nanchang is not only an industrial hub and home of many international Top 500 companies such as Microsoft, ABB, Pepsi-Cola, Coca Cola to name a few and of course us – we have a manufacturing plant right there in the metropolis that is so important for trade and shipping in mainland China. But Nanchang is also the place where the first airplane of the new China was manufactured and one could find the tallest ferris wheel in the world for a long time (until 2008).The Bold. Art. exhibit will be inaugurated with C.R. Lin, director of Crox International. Originally from Taiwan, he will share his experience in architecture, interior design, urban landscape planning and art with the audience. The 13 young artists from Asia Pacific and the Middle East present their bespoke art pieces all related to multiculturalism in their own countries at this show.
In addition, we also would like to draw attention to some activities that are very dear to our hearts. Since 2014 we partner with the China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF) on a project called “Hope Kitchen”. We provide and donate kitchen equipment, water filters and more to schools in rural areas. Through the program we help renovate school kitchens and support the provision of safe and balanced diets to students. We are proud that already five Hope Kitchens have been completed through this collaboration.
During the Bold. Art. exhibition opening event at the Honggutan Wanda mall, the audience will get a chance to learn more about this project and to ask the project managers questions.
