The Middle Eastern architects, interior designers, engineers, specifiers, and government officials were in for a real treat in May 2017.
We ran a Sustainability Roadshow covering five countries in the region and putting on eight sustainability seminars and LEED workshops. Starting in Saudi Arabia to United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, and finally Jordan.
Our expert Joseph Azzarello, Sr. staff Sustainability Engineer in the US, together with the marketing, local teams, and our distributors welcomed an eager audience at these events. The overwhelming interest showed: sustainability is not only a buzz word, it is here to stay.
So, no better opportunity to learn from the best. Joseph is the original founding member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) that was established in 1993. He is also a faculty member of USGBC and WELL as well as an ambassador of the Living Building Challenge and a LEED accredited professional. That said, he knows a thing or two about sustainability and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)…or probably all of it.
Our team also had a chance to meet with big firms in the field of consulting and interior design in Jeddha, Dubai and Amman.
The dense eight-day schedule of events sparked a lot of interest and the more than 288 participants already asked for more.
