It’s not all warmth and sunshine when you run for a good cause. The participants of the run on the Road of America in the beginning of November 2017 certainly would have a few words to say about this.Conditions for the run to raise cancer awareness and simultaneously accumulate kilometers for the global Run for Clarity initiative were definitely not as expected or hoped for – it was rather wet and cold. However, this didn’t deter any of the runners from getting after it. 333 of them ran for Run for Clarity and amassed 2,592 kilometers on the Road of America. The four-mile road in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is considered one of the best car racecourses in the United States, but it is definitely also an excellent road for runners. Congratulations for all who came out on this gloomy day.
