Shenzhen Design Forum – meet the smart future speakers

Don’t miss our next Design Forum in Shenzhen, China, a city with over 10 million people located along the original Kowloon-Canton Railway route and just north of Hong Kong. It is a financial center in Southern China with headquarters of some high-tech companies. Shenzhen has more than 59 supertall buildings (over 200 meters) including Ping An Finance Centre that is under construction and will be the fourth tallest building in the world.
ad-logoHolding the Design Forum in such a vibrant and fast changing city is the perfect foundation for our speaker’s presentations and the following panel discussion on “smart future” that will be moderated by Architectural Design and us.
Each of the speakers will bring a unique perspective to the table:
%e5%88%98%e4%bc%9f%e6%a3%a0-0021Wilfred Lau, a global planning and engineering consultant and a Director of Arup, focuses on developing cities in Asia applying a smart green resilient planning philosophy that he created. He also authored a book titled “Smart Green Resilient” and often shares his views on integrated urbanism.
wilfred-lauEd Ng is the co-founder and principal of AB Concept, an interior design firm specializing in the luxury hospitality and residences industry. Apart from being a residential and commercial interior design expert, Ed is also actively supporting and developing design talent, especially in China. In addition, he is a regular blogger on HotelsMag.com
joe-chengJoe Cheng, chairman and director of Cheng Chung Design, is a perfection seeker and artist in combining architecture and interior design for international brands in the hotel industry to achieve highest quality project results. He is very involved in all stages of a project and communicates frequently with the owners and operators of the establishments to ensure that design concepts and great ideas are well understood and incorporated.
