Don’t miss our next Design Forum in Shenzhen, China, a city with over 10 million people located along the original Kowloon-Canton Railway route and just north of Hong Kong. It is a financial center in Southern China with headquarters of some high-tech companies. Shenzhen has more than 59 supertall buildings (over 200 meters) including Ping An Finance Centre that is under construction and will be the fourth tallest building in the world.
Holding the Design Forum in such a vibrant and fast changing city is the perfect foundation for our speaker’s presentations and the following panel discussion on “smart future” that will be moderated by Architectural Design and us.
Each of the speakers will bring a unique perspective to the table:
Wilfred Lau, a global planning and engineering consultant and a Director of Arup, focuses on developing cities in Asia applying a smart green resilient planning philosophy that he created. He also authored a book titled “Smart Green Resilient” and often shares his views on integrated urbanism.

Apart from being a residential and commercial interior design expert, Ed is also actively supporting and developing design talent, especially in China. In addition, he is a regular blogger on HotelsMag.com
