Between 17 and 28 January 2018, Singapore is going to transform from the very organized, totally regulated city into an art lover’s paradise. More than 100 events including showcases, sculptures, interactive installations, murals, family-friendly activities, walking tours, talks, art fairs, film screenings, after-parties and more will rock the city during the Singapore Art Week.Supported by the Economic Development Board Singapore, the Singapore Tourist Board, the National Arts Council, and media partner The A-List, the 6th edition of this visual arts festival initiative spreads out over galleries, museums, art precincts, non-profit spaces. Visitors will see visual arts from traditional to contemporary to modern styles.Singapore is still considered an emerging art scene, but the with last year’s 180,000 visitors, which is hoped to be topped, the place is clearly emerging with young and also established artists showing their trade.
