On 25 June 2018, the Hong Kong team partnered with Arnhold to celebrate Kohler’s 145th anniversary at the Four Seasons Hotel in Victoria Harbour. More than 200 architects, designers, developers, guests, and friends dressed in gold and white gathered to party the night away at the Harbour View Ballroom. The spacious ballroom presented an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest and newest products that will soon be available on the market.
The intriguing displays allowed for KALLISTA Grid, Artist Editions Dutchmaster Midnight Floral, intelligent toilets such as Sensis, Mix & Match faucets, Real Rain, and Components to shine in the best light. Between finger food and delicious cocktails at the 145th anniversary party, guests learned about the new products through product presentations by savvy ‘reporters’ who reported live from the different corners of the room and pointed out the benefits of each of these new, stunning products. If people didn’t catch the broadcast at the event, the new Kohler Hong Kong website is also a good resource to find information about the novelties. The big attraction that we have already seen at the Kitchen and Bath China show was the KOHLER Konnect display. Numi, the award-winning intelligent toilet, and TouchMe Mirror with its voice-activation were the definite stars. In addition, the voice recognition shower made a few people stop and marvel at the technology and innovation. Besides the product displays, networking and catching up with old and new friends, the performance dancers really stood out. They had a remarkable resemblance to the suave thief that appeared in advertisements and marketing materials all over the world in the last few months. The show also included the theft of the Components faucet. Guests and hosts enjoyed the excellent five-Michelin star catering, the delicious drinks, the entertainment, and the company of so many peers. The party is a clear statement that Kohler Company after 145 years is going stronger than ever. More anniversary parties are planned in the region. Some of them will also combine the first KEC anniversaries in Singapore and Taiwan.
