If you happened to be in Toronto on Saturday 6 May, we hope you didn’t miss the sold-out charity gala night “Dressy or Messy” organized by Canada Cares, a program of the Canadian Abilities Foundation.
The program raises awareness of the importance of families and care givers for people with disabilities. The annual event celebrates and honors these people who have such an important and caring role in the lives of those in need.
As a founding sponsor of Canada Cares, our Canada team was extremely happy to see the 400 guests, many from the creative and design community, gather at the Barbara Frum Atrium of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre.
The ten-floor high atrium that was designed by Philip Johnson was the perfect venue to honor people who care and go above and beyond to help.
The action packed program and performances included special guest Lee Melymick and family, actor Kim Coates, paralympian Joel Dembe, musicians, comedians, magicians, and an amazing crowd of supporters.
