For the second time in Miami and stateside, the Casacor Miami 2018 is bigger and grander than the first edition. With nearly 30 design firms participating, the Latin American multi-city trade show that has been curating houses and properties in South America for almost 30 years, is impressing the design industry in the United States.
From 30 November to 16 December 2018, Casacor and its designers and artists are exhibiting an urban oasis at the high-rises penthouses at 700 Brickell Avenue.
20 spaces on 25,000 square-feet in the Swire properties spotlight the originality of the city, the best collaboration between designers, artists, and manufacturers, and a flair of experimentation and fun.
Lucio Grimaldi, CEO of Casacor, and Jessica Acosta-Rubio, curator of Casacor Miami, orchestrated a serious exhibition of experimental urban living.
Inspired by the urban infrastructure of Miami, the overall theme of nature is apparent in all 20 spaces that range from moments of calm, balance, inspiration to wild roots, technology, modernism, and naturalism.
Well-known design firms D’Apostrophe, Pininfarina, and Moniomi teamed up with artists including Carol Adrianza Ferdinand, Christian Feneck, Flora and Form, Karen Starosta-Gilinski, Kerry Phillips, Lucinda Linderman, Juliana Aragao
The immersive experience comprising interiors, design, architecture, landscape, art, fashion, technology results in a feeling of glimpsing at and living in a global culture.
