After four days, the Cityscape Global wrapped up at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 4 October 2018. More than 300 exhibitors displayed their projects and developments during the trade show that was visited by more than 30,000 industry participants comprising developers, property owners, government officials, consultants, designers etc. The event kicked-off at the InterContinental Hotel on 1 October with a sold-out conference where we were a gold sponsor. The 600 guests had a chance to listen to impressive presentations by industry leaders, government representatives, and futurists. While everyone was networking during the breaks, they could also see our latest displays with the brand new Ombre PVD vibrant finish on the new Components Collection faucet displayed in front of the Dutchmaster Midnight Floral pattern backdrop. The conference not only addressed the overall theme of CityScape Global ‘happiness’ but reached deeper into the latest developments in artificial intelligence and technology related to real estate. Speakers and panel participants discussed the future of real estate in Dubai and globally, investments, and developments in the industry. The following days at the exhibition, attendees saw some of these project models closeup. There were many industry partners and manufacturers present that showcased their products. At our booth, we had a functioning Real Rain shower head panel display as well as a black Numi and a white Veil Collection intelligent toilet. Only these few products from the complete range demonstrated the latest bathroom technologies and connectivity. The easy use of these certainly is adding to the overall happiness of people and improving the everyday lives. In the late afternoons of the CityTalks, a presentation forum at the trade show, Aiman Halabi, our area sales manager, fascinated the audience with a fast-paced thirty minutes of Kohler global trends. He swiftly explained how art which is very dear to our hearts is a big boost in property value and the future of real estate in Dubai and all over the world. If people missed his presentation on the first trade show day, they were able to catch it again on days two, three, and four. The 15th CityScape Global wrapped up with the ceremony of the Cityscape awards winners. Iconic projects and their developers received the much-awaited awards and Axis Mundi of the American University in Dubai took home the ‘Tomorrow’s Leaders Award 2018’.
