At the beginning of April, our Middle East Team traveled to the shores of the Red Sea for the Cityscape Jeddah 2019 trade show. As a gold sponsor of the leading international real estate show in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), we supported Cityscape Jeddah 2019 as exhibitors and sponsors of the conference.
The more than 10,000 delegates who explored the booths and displays at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events were looking for expert advice as well as scouting out the latest real estate investment and development opportunities in the kingdom and beyond.
Under the patronage of HE Majed Bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, minister of Housing in the KSA, the conference brought together interesting and fascinating speakers who shared their wisdom and insights about the market in Saudi, the Middle East, and even internationally with about 200 guests.
The Saudi Arabia housing minister recently said that real estate financing in the kingdom should reach up to 21.33 billion USD in 2019. As part of the Vision 2030 strategic plan, the ministry hopes that 60% of Saudis will own homes by 2020 and homeownership will increase from 10,000 new households per month to 15,000 new households by 2020.
To complement the talks and discussions, exhibitors showcased their latest projects and products on the 9,000 square meters on the exhibition floor.
Developers, property owners, government officials, and individual home owners had a chance to browse for the best and newest innovations and technologies, network with peers and establish new business relationships with brands and their representatives.
The Kohler booth was quite packed during all days of the exhibition from April 5 to 7. Guests showed a particular interest in the Artist Editions sinks Briolette and Dutchmaster in Midnight Floral, Real Rain shower panels, and the Numi intelligent toilet.
