We will hold our first Design Forum in Europe during the London Design Festival that is held between 17-25 September in the city.
After great successes in China and Singapore, we are taking this half-day event to the design capital of the world – London. Under the theme “Design in Everyday life”, we will have well-known speakers including Mark Bickerstaffe, Kohler’s Director of New Product Development, Kitchen & Bath Europe & Asia Pacific, to talk about designs in our homes, share their insights and how these designs influence our daily lives. Josh Fehnert, Monocle’s design editor and Monocle 24 Radio’s design show host, will be the moderator of the event.
For this event, we partner with Monocle, one of world’s most premium media companies that produces multimedia content from more than 100 countries. The magazine readers are urban-dwellers with post-graduate degrees in high-level jobs predominately in the design and finance industries, government, and hospitality. They mostly come from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, German, and Singapore.
The London Design Festival is in its 13th year including 400 events and exhibitions organized and executed by organizations and artists from every design walk of life imaginable from around the world. The event is also supported by the Mayor of London and the Arts Council England.
The Design Forum in London is an invitation-only event and will be held in the evening of 20 September at 10-11 Clerkenwell Green in London.
