The inaugural interior design blogger event indulged the senses and fueled creative minds at the Kohler Experience Center in London, United Kingdom, on 22 March 2018.After a casual event warm-up with finger food and drinks, Robert Stevenson, our lead industrial designer at the Kohler London Design Studio, shared insights about the world of Kohler with the bloggers. In an interactive presentation, he presented the development process of the latest bathroom products, how consumer influences shaped these developments and new ideas that ultimately lead to the balance of form and function that is apparent in everything that we put on the market.Afterward Robert and the bloggers went on a showroom tour to explore and experience the products that he talked about. Stops were made for intelligent toilets and Real Rain showerhead demonstrations. The new ModernLife suite was also a highlight of the evening.Seeing and touching is not the same as experiencing. In this sense, guests had the opportunity to take advantage of a half hour relaxation massage offered by Urban Massage. The networking and mingling were guaranteed with these interesting activities in the elegant KEC.To make the impressions last even longer, each guest received a gift bag full of great surprises. These comprised of a body wash and body lotion set from Kohler Waters Spa, a scented candle from Willow & Honey that had also been responsible for the smells during the event at the KEC, a Kohler Moxie speaker, hand-painted chocolates, and some reading material. The interior design space is populated by a community of trusted experts, colleagues, and friends. With the first interior design blogging conference in London, bloggers not only had a chance to learn more about our products and services but to get to know our team and what we stand for. The blogger event was attended by popular bloggers including Martyn from Martyn White Designs, Melanie from Melanie Lissack Interiors, interior writer, stylist and designer Cate St Hill, Pia from Finnterior Designer, Kia from Kia Designs and Sarah from Girl About House.
