The How Design Live conference brings most creative minds from all design disciplines together. The Hynes Convention Center turned creative for the days between 30 April and 3 May 2018 being inundated with 3,000 in-house designers, agency designers, independents, marketers, creative directors, innovators, and trendsetters in the creative industry.Professionals from the US and 12 other countries and makers and shakers from top brands traveled to Boston for over 100 educational sessions, inspiring talks, and awe-inspiring presentations from industry leaders. At the same time, they did not want to miss out on the super trade show where visitors could preview new tools, technologies, and products.The Dieline Conference that was held at the same time spoke to attendees’ interest in learning new things, discuss current issues, and tackle challenges in a changing world of packaging design. The converging of design and marketing were defended by international design experts in consumer product packaging design at this 9th edition of the conference.Besides Debbie and Chase, there were so many big names that graced the conference with their presence that it would take far too long to list them all. However, it was said that creative decision makers of Facebook, Twitter, The Hershey Company, Gap Inc., and Adobe were also in the audience. There was a definite hype of collaboration and sparkles of creativity. If you wanted to get the latest in design and product design, the influencers who were at the conference definitely had some ideas about the advancement of the industry, why it is worth to be a designer in 2018, and how design can change the world.
