Under the theme ‘Establishing Architecture 4.0’ the IndoBuildTech 2019 had invited the more than 500 exhibitors this March to think about the fourth industrial revolution and apply the findings of the new world to their exhibits and products.
In the digitally-centered world, consumers are seeking the latest technologies and advancements in every area of life. IndoBuildTech 2019, Southeast Asia’s largest building and interiors exhibition, attracting more than 50,000 key buyers, manufacturers, professionals, and industry experts showcased the best and most innovative products in the industry and in the region.
At the Indonesian Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Jakarta, Indonesia, industry specialists and their over 1,500 brands presented what the changes in this new economy look like. From smarter buildings to changing structures, automation, robotics, the architecture and building industry is at the forefront of this change.
New materials such as transparent wood that could serve as an alternative for conventional glass with benefits of circulating light better and protecting from the outside heat, or self-healing concrete, a bacteria and calcium-based nutrient composite that is mixed in with concrete that helps to fill-in or ‘heal’ cracks in concrete walls biologically, are just a few materials that were presented.
IndoBuildTech 2019 visitors were keen to learn more about the development in the bathroom space. At our booth, Dirk Lange, Managing Director Kohler K&B Indonesia, introduced the latest products available in the Indonesia market.
