During the Kitchen & Bath China 2017 trade show we took the opportunity to invite our Asian and International customers from outside of China to a special evening and dinner at Three on the Bund.300 guests followed our invitation to this magical location in a historic building at the Huang Pu river front. We greeted them with wine, cocktails, photo opportunities, games, and gave them a chance to meet up with old and new friends.
Larry Yuen, president K&B Group, first took the stage to welcome the guests and give an overview of this year’s economic trends, outlooks and priorities. He also explained how the company puts global and innovative approaches at the forefront of everything we do.
Angel Yang, president K&B Asia Pacific, entertained the customers after the first course of the European meal with some extraordinary stories from around the region. For example, she pointed out the astonishing discovery that General Douglas MacArthur owned a Kohler bathtub in his headquarters in the Philippines.
What could be more exciting – apart from the amazing singing and acrobatic performances that evening – than to learn about new products, innovations and our developments and advances in the area of IoT?
Mark Bickerstaffe, Director of New Product Development K&B EMEA and APAC, and Lun Cheak Tan, Director Design Studio Shanghai and K&B Asia Pacific, certainly did not disappoint. Their high-powered presentations beautifully covered all of the above and much more.Besides the presentations and performances, the guests and teams truly enjoyed the dinner conversations, the chance to mingle, catch up, getting acquainted, getting their photos taken, a glass of wine and some real fine Kohler chocolates (especially imported from Kohler, Wisconsin, USA).
To sum it up and as the French tend to say: “Extraordinaire”
