The afternoon session of the Kohler Design Escape had Larry Yuen, Group President K&B, on stage talking about our commitment to design, leading the industry in this endeavor and developing and adopting latest technologies in the bathroom and kitchen space.Following his presentation Lun Cheak Tan, our Design Studio Director Asia Pacific for Kitchen & Bath based in Shanghai, shared design inspirations and the latest product developments and services with the audience. He concluded his session in a James Bond-like move to uncover the Veil bathroom suite. If the audience thought that they could just sit back and listen to some speeches, they were in for a surprise. The architects and designers were there to work as well! We had the honor to have Greg Farrell, Rengy John and Paul Wiste on stage for a fast-paced, fun-filled Pecha Kucha session.Masterfully, the three guests tackled the challenge of presenting their impressions, ideas, thoughts, and inspiration in relation to sensations to their peers. On 20 slides and in 20 seconds each, Greg, John and Paul did not even break a sweat.
Thank you again for your very great contributions!
Our audience easily falls into the category of early adopters and trendsetters. Taking this into consideration, we arranged a pre-opening tour of the new Kohler Experience Center in Bangkok – before it opened to the media and the invited guests. Finally, what can one wish for after a day of so many sensory inputs?
The answer is a relaxed dinner at a Thai restaurant, combining excellent food with live music and an opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
