For the last KOHLER Design Forum of 2018, the iconic location in the heart of the Bangkok Business District is very suitable. The KOHLER Design Forum Bangkok on Tuesday 27 November 2018 will bring architects and designers from Thailand and around the region to the City of Angels for a pleasant evening at the newly opened Gaysorn Urban Resort. The location has wonderful views and a great terrace to mingle and network, although guests will probably just give a quick glance and then join the well-known speakers from the industry in the glassed-in conference room. As in Singapore, London, Toronto, and Dubai, the KOHLER Design Forum in Bangkok under the theme ‘All Things Connected’ is a series of presentations by speakers who work and live the digital transformation in their jobs and lives. The attractive line-up promises a fast-paced, innovative, and fun-filled evening moderated by media partner Monocle’s executive editor Josh Fehnert.

He is currently leading Make’s Hong Kong studio, where he is overseeing the design and delivery of several major developments, including a large-scale wellness resort in China.

He is an architect, artist, collector, and educator who graduated from Cornell University and has spent the past two decades devoted to architecture, culture, and art. He has held several solo exhibitions showcasing his public art installations, including Lantern Wonderland in 2003 and 2011, and the Venice Biennale’s International Architectural Exhibition in 2007 and 2009. His works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Chengdu, the US, and the Netherlands.
Ou Baholyodhin is the chief creative officer at Sansiri. Ou is an award-winning creative director and designer based in Bangkok. In his role as the chief creative officer, he is responsible for visual identity and customer experience, shaping Sansiri’s overall look and feel, from design and development to marketing, media, branding, and special projects. His hope is that Sansiri will become a real estate developer of intelligent properties that shape the way people live in the future.
Mark Bickerstaffe, our director of new product development, once again takes the stage with these speakers to share thoughts and innovations in relation to connectivity in the bathroom space. Mark joined Kohler in 2004 to lead the design and product development across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and the Asia-Pacific regions. He now leads a talented team of creative people working from studios in France, the UK and China, responsible for all kitchen and bath product experience design outside of North America. The presentations will conclude with a lively panel discussion that will also be broadcast live on Facebook KOHLER Designful. Josh will moderate the debate and takes questions from the audience in the room. The evening will be rounded off with an opportunity to network, enjoy a delicious glass of wine, and some finger food on the terrace of Gaysorn Urban Resort.
