The Kohler Experience Center Los Angeles (KEC LAX), a two-story 10,000 square foot space with more than 20 bath vignettes and five full kitchen vignettes and much more opened its doors on 5 December 2017 in West Hollywood, California, USA. The KEC LAX is the second in the US after New York City and the seventh in the world (NYC, London, Delhi, Taipei, Bangkok, and Singapore). It is located at 8955 W. Beverly Blvd in West Hollywood, California. This is a fitting neighborhood for our latest retail concept design by Marmol Radziner, an architectural firm based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, to connect architects, designer and interior design enthusiasts with our brand and products. The emerging design scene in LA that is not limited to product design, but encompasses also fashion, film, culture and more was looking for something like the KEC LAX to learn more about a manufacturer’s passion for gracious living, leading-edge design, and outstanding customer service.
The visitors can fully immerse in the world of bathroom and kitchen design by visiting the vignettes, booking a real-life experience of the products in the Experience Room where Real Rain, DTV+ digital shower systems, VibraAcoustic hydrotherapy, Veil, and Numi toilets await them (by appointment only).
Or guests may wander through the specially created art space that currently houses ‘Ghost School’, a sculptural installation by David Franklin. David attended the Arts/Industry program twice producing an impressive body of work.At the opening on 5 December 2017, David Kohler gave a passionate welcome speech in front of a full house including the artist David Franklin and the distributors Expressions Home Gallery who majorly orchestrated the realization of the KEC LAX, Chip Hornsby and Kathy Moses.
