At our 2017 Kohler Latin America Distributors Contest (LATAM) we got lots of entries from our distributors who were competing against each other for the top spots. The aim of this contest is to recognize those partners who best use their resources and take full advantage of the tools to continuously increase their and their customers’ knowledge of our brand.
The competition further awards distributors who had phenomenal growth in their market within Latin America.
The winners were selected based on several criteria: sales percentage in a percentage of objectives (orders shipped), number of products in the showrooms, participation in the co-op program, and WebEx training.
The LATAM Distributor of the year is Cochez from Panama. The team has opened the first Kohler Signature Showroom in the Calle 50, Antigua Mansion Dante, Panama City, in Latin America in 2017, exceeded the sales targets by 200% and continuously invest in marketing and branding to promote the Kohler brand to their audience.
In this showroom, a large range of our products can be seen and experienced.
We do not want to miss announcing the second and third place of the contest as these distributors are also outstanding business partners.
In the second place, SAXS in Guatemala showcases the most complete product range in the showroom of all the showrooms across Latin America. The densely populated country has the biggest GDP of the countries in Central America.
It is also the fastest growing economy in the Western hemisphere and historical tourism is thriving. The country has a vast biodiversity and long history that is fascinating to discover.
Finally Tile City & Home Center, the first exclusive authorized distributor for our products, in Kingston on the island of Jamaica came in third place for their outstanding sales. This distributor was almost beating all the other distributors participating in the contest.
This distributor participated in the first Jamaica Design week in September 2017.
