LEED Green Symposium and Trainings – Joe is on the road again

From the hot desert of the Arabian Peninsula to the lush jungles of Vietnam – well, of course with a detour home to the US – Joe Azzarello, our sustainability expert, is sharing his knowledge and expertise again. He will be in Ho Chi Minh City from 4-6 October 2017 for a Green Building symposium, trainings on LEED, green architecture, and sustainability.Green Vietnamese skylineDuring the LEED Symposium in the afternoon of 4 October 2017, Joe, Tran Khanh Trung, president of HCMC Green Architecture Club and CEO of TTT Architects, and Vu Linh Quang, deputy director of Ardor Architects, as moderator, will discuss “The Future of Green Buildings in Vietnam and the World”.

Its nearly 4,000 members are passionate about the design and construction of green buildings in Vietnam. With the support of the HCMC Energy Conservation Center, the club provides an excellent platform to share knowledge, experiences and information.
Seahorses and faucetThe following two days, Joe who is a certified US Green Building Council Instructor takes the audience on a journey of how green building certification can be applied in markets such as Vietnam. He will explain the criteria and the benefits of receiving the international appraisal. Logo LEEDThe attendees will learn through presentations, workshops, exercises and more about the importance of LEED-certified buildings and other aspects of sustainability to use before, during and long after the construction of a building. Common myths about LEED certification will be dispelled. Furthermore, the group will learn more about our latest water-saving products.Showroom LEED symposiumThe LEED Green Associate training is for architects, designers, developers, and interested parties alike. After completion, the participants will receive a LEED Green Associate Training certificate.
