The 58th Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone 2019 concluded on April 14, 2019, after a week of sensory overload. The large trade fair with its cutting-edge furniture and lighting displays brought the latest trends in the industry out in the open. The Fuorisalone in the city of Milan, Italy, literally attacked the senses from every angle.
To be in the middle of it all, one had to be part of it. With the installation at the Palazzo del Senato, Kohler and our team could not have been any closer to the action. Just around the corner from the wildly successful Louis Vuitton installation and down the road from Wonderglass and COS, the palazzo was a great place to take a breather.
Or so the visitors thought when passing through the big gate at the Palazzo del Senato. The digital garden welcomed them for more visual stimulation and the display of Real Rain, digital showering systems, intelligent toilets, and more worked their magic for another design spark.
The generous exhibition space also featured the brand-new concrete inlay decorative handles and a full room of Ann Sacks’ Crackle Collection tiles produced by the WasteLAB.
The café and lounge were a wonderful place to sit and unwind for a few minutes before heading into the design frenzy outside of the palace walls.
Several events during the week gave guests a chance to network with Kohler Associates from around the world, get to know new people and to renew existing relationships and meet friends.
Although the weather was not as spring-like as some may have wished, it didn’t stop visitors from coming to see the well-organized product exhibition and getting engulfed in the historic atmosphere of the Palazzo del Senato.
The Kohler team enjoyed entertaining so many guests from every corner of the world and we are looking forward to meeting everyone at the latest in Milan again in 2020 for the Salone del Mobile with a special focus on Kitchen and Bath.
