Wu Peishan, a young Taiwanese artist, is currently finishing up her studies at the National Taiwan University of Arts Sculpture Department. Since she was in high school she has been participating in group exhibitions organized by the university.
For this exhibition, she used metal in her work, but she has also experimented with other materials such as wood.
Peishan was very happy to participate in the Kohler and the Arts program, giving her an opportunity to meet other artists and learn about their creative processes. It gave her a chance to go beyond the borders of Taiwan and express her interpretation of “Born in Taiwan”.
