Cheryl Kees Clendenon is one of the 2017 Trendspotters designers who first got together with the others in New York for Benjamin Moore‘s Color of the Year paint party and to kick off the new round of Trendspotters Collaboration. It is the second consecutive year of collaboration with Silestone, Benjamin Moore and us. At the party, the 2017 Benjamin Moore Color of the Year ‘Shadow’ was announced and it was also an opportunity for the designers to begin conceptualizing new kitchen vignettes.Cheryl, owner and founder of InDetailInteriors, has a Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona and many years of experience in the interior design space. She takes us through the latest design ‘The Garden’s Edge‘ kitchen featuring our Prolific and Harborview sinks and the HiRise bridge high-arch faucet. Her idea of a live-in, family-centric kitchen is a room flooded with natural light, bathed in soft, serene and relaxed colors. They are offset with the Charcoal soapstone countertops. For the perfect transition between the outdoors and indoors, Cheryl chose a large window that opens ‘garage-door’ like, a bar and a prep room. Follow along and listen to her explain this latest design in detail.
