World Architecture Festival (WAF) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Berlin, Germany, during 15-17 November 2017. The three-day event honors architects and interior designers and their work with a range of activities. A big part of these are the competition awards that have received more entries this year than ever before and are more diverse and international than ever.
The 434-shortlisted representatives from big architectural and interior design firms and emerging players in the field will defend their projects in live judging sessions and give their best to receive the highly dotted prizes and accolades of World Building of the Year, Future Projects of the Year, Landscape of the Year.
In a new category ‘Architecture drawing’ a winner has already been selected. This prize recognizes hand drawings and digitally produced renderings. With Memento Mori: A Peckham Hospice Care Home, Jerome Xin Hao Ng who studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UK, received this well-deserved prize.
The INSIDE World Festival, an event for interior designers, is taking place at the same time as WAF in Berlin.
